While not exactly a 'Creative Commons' license, 'Teaching Permaculture
Creatively' was published with a 'copyleft'/ open source ethic. The authors
intended it to go around and come back with added content and refined
versions through our permaculture network- in a pre-internet era.
Its still an excellent resource and relevant work.
Peace,
Keith

we've all read the previous messages, or at least can find them. Thanks!

Google tofu and memory loss. There was a study in China or Taiwan or
somewhere in that part of the world that indicated
that regular long term consumption of tofu (maybe too much too often) led to
memory loss in a group of people studied.
For men, having sex can do the same thing, even exposure to certain aromatic
oils, i.e. tea tree, peppermint, etc.
Consume in moderation and consume a diversity of foods is probably a
reasonable approach.
I eat 3-4 pounds tofu each week, drink soy milk, eat miso and tempeh, lots of
cooked beans,
peanut butter, sesame and assorted nuts, canned tuna and chicken, herring and
sardines and occasional eggs; I do this
regularly. I eat meat only one or two times each week if that often and
delight in knowing how little animal fat and red
meat I have consumed. I think some folks fare better than others with a vegan
or vegetarian diet. Fat from grass fed red
meat animals is supposed to be vital for good health as is simply getting
enough protein in one's diet.
