I haven't had many maypop fruits, but I did taste one from Ukiah, California
that was just as good as tropical species.  It had more of a banana flavor
than the others.  Selective breeding would definitely help.  Passionfruits
are nutritious and store for a long time.  They can add intense, tropical
flavors to other fruits when blended.

I would like to buy three different varieties this tree and I have searched
all over CA for them. The only place I found them in Southern CA and they
will not ship them to me. Does anyone have a source that will deliver?
