I recently had a chance to look at some exquisite scythes from Peter Vido of the Scythe Connection <http://www.scytheconnection.com/index.html>. Yum! I wish I had some tall grass to cut to try them out immediately, but its all short and snow covered at the moment. When gas-powered mowing is no longer an option, we all had better be prepared with the best tools available.

If you have never had the occasion to use a well-made scythe you don't know how much fun, easy, and even meditative, it can be.

For Peter scything is a religious experience, and, judging by the videos of him and his kids moving through tall grass "like butter", it's easy to understand.

I will soon be adding his superior tools to the Pc Trading Post site, but until then, go to his site. They will make a gift to treasure by anyone who uses them.

Keith
