What the owner of this group and most its members are saying is, "Quit
making the subject line of your

email to Permaculture say and reference to that particular digest which
in this case is

permaculture Digest, Vol 49, Issue 33". In other words, make your
subject line specific. Refer to

the specific topic. Create a thread on that particular topic and your
fans on this group can follow that issue

easier than putting the subject as permaculture Digest, Vol 49, Issue
33. You know what that

does to some of us?

We have to backtrack and find the digest where that topic started. We
get mad and quit reading your input.

We move on to other submitters to the group list and read their stuff
ignoring your stuff.

The owner of this Permacluture listserv discussion asks each and every
one of us as stated in

the beginning of each digest sent to you and it says below.

When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than

"Re: Contents of permaculture digest..."

I have no idea why you sent this to me or what you are trying to say.

John, this helps us follow the thread. Yes, it requires stripping the
headers and hitting "reply" is an extra step but it makes easier for
great comments to be read.

When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than
"Re: Contents of permaculture digest..."

Look back at the past permaculture digests sent. You will see what we
mean.
