There is still plenty of hope. You have to believe in something and that plus
a desire for freedom and democrary is what motivated all the peaceful
demonstrators in Minsk and elsewhere,
a desire to work for positive change. This is the 21st century. We do not
need dictators anymore.
Yushchenko (got the spelling right this time) in Ukraine is an inspiring
leader and should have stayed in power.
Its the pro-Moscow regimes that seem to be the most repressive and who resist
positive change; Uzbekistan is
another example of this mindset. I say this in spite of the fact that it is
these regimes who resist the American
presence and American influence in those countries. Maybe they would like
Permies better!

Would it bbe possible to import the Belarus Hippophae/Eleagnus verieties into
the US to propagate, sell and plant?
Are there any certified nurseries in the US already carrying these varieties.
