Miscanthus escaped from a garden in Asheville, NC about 15 years ago and now it's all over the region and spreading fast. It's a host for pesky chiggers, adds a lot to the highway department's maintenance budget, and can be very flammable. Find out if its already in your region and how it's doing there before planting ANY.

Hello,

Is anyone out there familiar with this "Miscanthus"?

What are other potential uses for it besides growing it to burn for
electricity?

Wendy
