Hi Selwyn-

In terms of content I think this list will be basically the same. A list about all things Permaculture related.

It really depends on the people who join in and create the conversations. I'd say the main difference might be that the intention is set and guidelines are written to explicitly ask members to be supportive, encouraging, inclusive and open with our communication and ideas. I'm not sure if there any such guidelines for this list.

As stated in the invitation we hope that members attempt to have a good attitude, recognizing that this is part of permaculture and generally trying to focus on creative solutions, respect for diversity and community building.

Hope you join in!

Hi Kat,
how is this new list different from the current list we are on now?

Selwyn

I find this a very devisive move, in the sense that this listserve has served the PC community very well for years and is familiar to most of us involved in permaculture and to organize another in what seems a fit of pique is counter productive.

I hope it isn't because of our last string on course curriculum, I couldn't help but notice that you are offering certification for attending three of your workshops and that those workshops seemed considerable light on the required curriculum.

I will opt to stay with this list serve because it does allow contentiousness, when it is called for, and has consistently been flameless. I would certainly want to have better reasons than you list above to change my mind.

Regards,
Scott Pittman
