Unfortunately it is not about politics. It is about people being right, which places the other side as wrong. Perfect circumstances for a war. And it is about people being unkind. If we could just look in our heart and ask ourselves how do we want to be treated then treat others that way we would go a long way.

There *is* such a thing as right and wrong and that is the basis of the ethical principals of permaculture. There is global warming, I don't care who says there
needs to be more studies, they are WRONG! So sometimes we have to stand up and declare that the Emperor has no clothes, and then accept the cose-
quence of ridicule by all of those who have invented and clothed the bugger.
I would expect to be told if I am wrong otherwise how can I grow and learn? Often being wrong can have serious consequences like the Green Revolu-
tion, and DDT; it took great courage for Carson McCuller and Vandana Shiva to stand up and say this was wrong behaviour. They were right.
