Hi Claude- there's a whole bunch of lists out there, alot of posts such as
the Coke one get forwarded to Ecovegans & earth Citizens, which is a list I
run, see http://groups.yahoo.com/group/eco_vegans

Plus alot of discussion goes on at some of the other Vegan- centred lists I
subscribe to, 'Vegans Uncensored'
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/VegansUncensored/ (as the name suggests) is
one of the rowdier lists and probably not for everyone, I also get stuff
from the Mclibel mailing list (see http://www.mcspotlight.org/ ) which,
though it mainly focusses on McDonalds, also looks at many other corporate
type orgainisations, including Coca Cola.

I also subscribe to the schnews weekly email, which is an alterntive news
weekly put out by the Brighton (UK) based Shnews collective
http://www.schnews.org.uk/ , well recommended for an alternative antidote to
the mainstream coroprate media (and they've plugged my permaculture book and
courses in the past! and they've got a forest garden set up in Brighton...),
plus there's LOADS of others, Urban 21, The Land Is ours, Do Or Die, i can't
keep up with all of them TBH...

Personally i think these lists and websites admirably serve their purposes,
the purposes of the permaculture lists is different. As Bob said, maybe
there are some out there who think that permaculture is all about gardening
but I can't help feeling that most of us here ARE aware of 'the problems'
and are perfecly cappable of keeping ourselves informed. Personally i don't
want to see the Permaculture lists become yet another 'Campaign Action
update' bulletin board or it will become yet another online free for all of
forwarded messages about Coke, Mcdonalds, the Iraq War, Nike, etc, etc that
just contributes to our information overload.

Cheers Graham
