g'day james,
depends where the termites are? if they are in your house then you need professional help, there are organic methods of control for protecting your house and outbuildings.
if they are in the garden which they will be there all the time then there is not much can be done, also not all termites attack homes it is subterranian types that do and as i have been told not all of them do either. the best policy keep gardens away from the house and other structures.
