Sal,
Good point. I've been there done that, too. I guess it's the anonymity
of the internet that allows folks to say things they'd never say in
person (for obvious health reasons). There's a metaphor in there
somewhere!
As far as permaculture, I too am coming at it from the self-sufficiency
standpoint, though I'm looking at all components of our lives.
