Can you innoculate apple trees with the appropriate AM, VAM, EndoM, or EctoM fungal symbiont for added moisture, phosphorous and micronutrient
uptake? I was thinking about alley-cropping grapes with clover
within an apple orchard, innoculating the trees with the appropriate
mycorrhizae, the clover with the right rhizobium, planting the apples on
level ground with no added nitrogen from any source and the clover and
grapes in raised beds. Could this system be refined in any way and could it be considered a guild?
