Aloha,

So perhaps invasiveness can be indicated by what conditions enable
invasiveness rather than an exhaustive listing of locations and related
behavior.

Example:
In the relatively warm winters of the coastal NW, morning glory is an
invasive, vining, smothering perennial with roots that break off all
too easily when trying to pull it up, and keep on sproutin'. Where the
ground freezes solid several feet deep, every winter, for quite a
while, the roots are presumably killed and it's an annual ornamental,
or if they're not killed growth season is short and dormancy is long
and it can't get out of hand so quickly or at all.

So data something like...

Invasiveness factors: no ground freeze, X month growth season

...for a very rough example.
