Ethylene  gas is allowed by the organic body IFOAM .  It needs to be adsorbed into activated charcoal either in water or it is possible to apply dry ethylenated charcoal powder.  Either dry or wet it is placed in the funnel of each plant.

Dear Members of the OPWG,

 

In most pineapple producing countries commercial  plantations use products such as ethrel to induce flowering. I would like to know if there is an organic alternative to this.
