Would mass-plantings of lavender (Lavendula - i.e. L. angustifolia) deter
deer (and rabbits) from a garden, orchard or restoration planting?
Also, my friend lives in suburban deer-country ... How would corrugated tubes
work for preventing deer/rabbit browse? Does it cause the freshly planted
whip/sapling (4') to quickly reach for the top (6') in time to avoid
solar-starvation? How about a cost-effective solution for spraying 60 newly
planted saplings - one that does not involve fencing them in?
