I got my female Cudrania a few years ago from Edible Landscaping, and they
advertised it as self-fruitful, so I didn't get a male to accompany it. It
took a while, due to neglect, transplanting, etc, but it has flowered the
last 2 seasons. Last year the flowers persisted on the branch, but did not
grow or do anything resembling ripening, so I began to wonder how one could
be certain that a wind pollinated fruit that ripened was actually not getting
pollen from somewhere and did not need a pollen source.

Hello Richard,

What size Che are you getting. Mine w/o a pollinator are seedless and
cherry size and I've been told they are bigger when a male is available.

I do have a few Jujube seed, seed case removed, from a seedling of unknown
seed parent. These fruits are smaller than many named varieties but have a
good flavor. Would share if anyone is looking for seed.

Jerry
