I was going to send in the suggestion of a loquat too until I read the
description that it is the size of a peach. The 4 brown seeds and the leaves
and the flesh description made me think loquat-- Google images will have
good pictures of loquat fruit and leaves.

Hard to tell from the description without a picture. Could it be a
loquat?
