Anyone know it's history/parentage?
Is "Jersey" a selection of pure prunus maritima.or is it a hybrid with some other species?
Is it from the  New Jersey/ Rutgers breeding program?

I tasted my Jersey beach plums today, here in NY's Hudson Valley. They were delicious. I got the plant from Raintree Nursery.
