- Subject: [NAFEX] Green Bags Questions
- Date: Sun, 23 Aug 2009 07:07:38 -0500
No doubt most of you have heard of "Green Bags" that absorb ethylene gas to slow fruit ripening. Well, the ones I bought from the television promotion worked good...............at least the first three worked good; the rest were worthless. Now the grocery stores sell them, including some called "Forever Bags," but none of them work - they're worthless. What is going on with them? Does anyone sell some that do what they are claimed to do? Do they lose their properties when exposed to air? What is their half life? Etc, etc.?
