You've helpfully posted this recommendation at least twice before, and it has
always been near the top of my Experiments list. Will definitely try it next
year!

In my area, birds feed on Amelanchiers more depending on the surrounding
cover. In a local library's courtyard, where there is nothing but groomed
lawn & parking lot for "cover", the berries dry to raisins on the juneberry
bush. Friends' prairie-landscaped yard in town ripen their juneberries, but
then watch out for the robins! My yard is in the country/woods, and the
catbirds prefer this.
