I have one unknown variety of Oriental Persimmon
that was not damaged by the freeze last year, 2 trees, while all the rest were.
They bore fruit. I also have Rosseyanka. I can look tomorrow to see if they
are still dormant if you like. I am looking for the large one I think it is
called Great wall. Had a nice tree going until freeze killed all to below
graft.

Bass, I've cut very little scionwood this year - almost no
persimmon - and it's getting fairly late here, but the Asians should
still be quite dormant. Anything in particular that you're looking for?
I've not even had a chance to check to see what survived the summer
drought and winter, but if I've got what you're looking for, I'll be glad
to cut some for
you.
