- Subject: [NAFEX] soil ph
- Date: Tue, 9 Oct 2007 12:39:12 EDT
I have added quite a bit of horse manure to my soil which has a fair amount
of clay and now it is very fertile (by actual test) but too basic, probably
because the manure contained quite a bit of urine. It tills up
wonderfully. Would gypsum bring down the ph? I also have quite a few
pine needles which I am going to till in. Thanks. Jerry in southern
