My tree was a Bali from St. Lawrence. They are tissue

have to be on their own roots. Are all the Evans
cherries sold on their
own roots also tissue cultured?
So far as I'm aware, SLN is the only commercial US
source for Evans/Bali, and theirs are all
tissue-cultured.
I'm not sure what DNA Gardens & other Canadian
suppliers are doing; tissue culture, root cuttings,
seedlings?
It seems unlikely that some would make sprouts
and some wouldn't. They should be identical genetics
wise and I would
expect them to all behave the same. Not that I doubt
that some never
make sprouts, I'm just wondering why.
I agree, Steve, if one suckers, you'd think they all
would, since they're genetically identical; my
experience is n=1, and mine suckers. Bernie or
someone alluded that not all of them sucker.
