My tree was a Bali from St. Lawrence. They are tissue cultured so they have to be on their own roots. Are all the Evans cherries sold on their own roots also tissue cultured?
Mine never made a single sprout as far as I know. I suppose there is a small chance it made a sprout that I mistook for plum sprout as I mowed it off. I doubt it.
Re something Lucky said: It seems unlikely that some would make sprouts and some wouldn't. They should be identical genetics wise and I would expect them to all behave the same. Not that I doubt that some never make sprouts, I'm just wondering why.
