I love currants and black currants too, but I do have to admit that
SOME black currants, especially Consort, taste kind of terrible when
fresh. I still eat them, but they taste like fox or cat pee or
something you don't normally eat.

Hello All,
I was disheartened that somebody labeled blackcurrants as having a "cat pee"
flavor. How many people have been turned off to a fruit that tastes nothing
like cat urine? Although I have never tasted cat urine, others may have.
Blackcurrants are GREAT! Some people may not like them, but that is totally
subjective.
Experiment, try things out yourself. That is the whole point of NAFEX.
Later,
Tom
