Tom, don't get so bothered with the term I used for lack of another and that others have often used to describe the elusive flavor of black currants.  I happen to like black currants also and have given many plants to other gardeners.  -- Sam

Hello All,

I was disheartened that somebody labeled blackcurrants as having a “cat pee” flavor.  How many people have been turned off to a fruit that tastes nothing like cat urine?  Although I have never tasted cat urine, others may have.

Blackcurrants are GREAT!  Some people may not like them, but that is totally subjective.

Experiment, try things out yourself.  That is the whole point of NAFEX.

Later,

Tom
