Tom, don't get so
bothered with the term I used for lack of another and that others have often
used to describe the elusive flavor of black currants. I happen to like
black currants also and have given many plants to other gardeners. --

All, I was disheartened that somebody
labeled blackcurrants as having a “cat pee” flavor. How many people have
been turned off to a fruit that tastes nothing like cat urine? Although I
have never tasted cat urine, others may have. Blackcurrants are GREAT! Some
people may not like them, but that is totally
subjective. Experiment, try things out
