Richard Ashton - Mark Lanmon here. Thank you for your interest in helping
the Nuosu Yi people of China. The weather data that I have is for a city
that is near our people group but 3,000 feet lower elevation. I do not
know how to make adjustment for altitude. The following data is for the
city of Xichang, China:

Average low temperature in degrees Fahrenheit: (please adjust +3,000ft.)

Oct.55 - Nov.47 - Dec.41 - Jan.39 - Feb.42 - Mar.50

Average precipitation in inches: (please adjust +3,000ft.)

Jan.0.3 - Feb.0.4 - Mar.1.1 - Apr.1.2 - May3.4 - Jun.10.7

Jul.7.1 - Aug.8.2 - Sep.9.1 - Oct.4.4 - Nov.1.3 - Dec.0.1

I have been told that this is too much rainfall for apricots. Because I
have so much seed from northern Pakistan, my hope is that a few of the
seeds will have the right genetics to survive. I am an amature at this so
I very much appreciate all the advice you can give. Thank you again for
wanting to help the Nuosu people. They currently have no fruit in their
diet. Your friend, Mark.
