Surround has variable success. One
can cover smaller trees with Reemay or other agricultural barrier cloth.
There are reports that burning the underbrush in orchards provides
control. Some also report that Neem spray may have some effect in
combination with Surround, but not as a standalone. Stephen From:

used Surround for effictive PC protection on peaches, plums and
apples. You have to maintain complete coverage on yout trees for good results.
Since it is a clay product that is coating the fruit you should be prepared to
