Hal, the Magness stands between a Shinko asian pear and a Harvest Queen
pear (which, I hope, acts as a satisfactory pollenizer). In addition,
there are pear trees on a number of nearby lots. -- Sam

Sam,

Magness is supposed to be pollen sterile, so if its the only one you
planted, that would be the reason for no fruit.
