Just a few notes on my experience with Evans
(Zone 4b, St. Paul, Minn.):
1. Tissue-cultured tree starts to sucker
after it's been in the ground 4 or 5 years.
2. Cherries taste like those of Montmorency
(at least at the stage of ripeness I've had to harvest to beat the birds to
them).
3. Under favorable growing conditions,
there's nothing dwarfish about the tree.
4. Foliage and fruit is susceptible to
mildew if there is an extended period of high humidity/rainfall.

Does anybody have any experience with Sweet Cherries Stella / Sweetheart
?
How about Tarts Balaton / Surefire / Evans?
Please launch forth your opinions.
