Keep in mind that when growing under lights the duration of light
(actually darkness to be technical) is important. An example is
amelanchier (Juneberry, serviceberry, etc) that grow in a amount
equal to four years by 11 1/2 hours of light per day in a season.
Some plants are short night, some are long night, and some don't care
are not affected by day length.
