Crandall is a selection of R. Odoratum, and often many different selections
of R. Odoratum are sold as "Crandall" and they are very similar, but if from
seedlings are or may be somewhat different. The same is true of
"Jostaberry". There is much more difference in "Jostas". The descriptions given
for "Josta" are generally those defined by Dr. Bauer and are appropriate to
specific selections, not "Josta" as a whole.
Back to "Crandall" you have to find one that you like and that fits the
description and stay with vegetative reproductions. Whitman Farms in Salem Or
has a good selection.
