Hi Derry
When the Fuyu's come to a local store-we buy!!!
Many do not like persimmons as they do not permit them to ripen
sufficiently.Not fully ripened they're like a spoon of alum.
When totally ripe, then overnight in the fridge, my wife and I pig
out--superb!
