These spineless cactus grow like weeds. The one I have went from a single
pad to 4 feet high and multiple branches in one year. The young pads taste
pretty good as nopalitos and eggs. Even though mine was spineless, I still
had to be careful of the fine glocids as they caused a lot of pain and were
hard to extract from the fingers.
