- Subject: [NAFEX] wax, an outdated product?
- Date: Wed, 17 Mar 2004 02:58:34 +0000
I have never tried Doc Farwell's because I thought it was the same as grafting wax (made with with resin, wax, and charcoal). Is it that yellow stuff you see occassionally in photos? I shall give it a try and see if it does all the jobs grafting wax does.
I have tried wax on various grafts and only find it necessary on grafts with a wide cut to fill such as cleft and some others.
The crock pot by the way stores enough heat for about 15 minutes of grafting.
