Hello Mark,
Bernie Vanderkleed (now deceased) at Lafayette, IN grafted a tomato onto a horseweed. I saw it with my own two eyes. As I recall it had tomatoes on it. It was a high graft and the understock still had leaves on it so I knew it was a horseweed understock.
