Loquat itself is relatively hardy, to
at least 0 F, but it blooms in late January and early February, so even if you
get it to survive, you probably wouldn't get any fruit unless you grow it in a
greenhouse. -Lon Rombough
Does this imply that we can grow loquat in cooler climate
zones?
