Peter,
I have my Osage Orange seedlings because about a year ago Lucky Pittman
mentioned that he just let some rot in the bed of his pickup until Spring
and then worked the seeds out.
Instead, I just buried half a dozen in a 6 inch deep trench, covered them
with leaf mulch, and in May they started to appear. I dug up two of the
"clumps" of seedlings, teased the roots apart and set them in a furrow.
Some grew a foot tall and some grew 6 feet tall
