Here is a link to a closeup I took of a very unusual caterpillar. I found a few of them that had defoliated a small honeycrisp. Each was about 5/8" long.
It sems to be a study in amazing camo - part chrysallis, part caterpillar
anyone know what it is?
anyone know of a good online pictoral guide to keying insects?
