Quince sounds great but I use all I get to make
quince jelly. The women around her put a goodly share of them to put in
their drawer drawers.
I've made pectin with just any ol' sour apple,
apple maggots and all. I don't have a choice of apple type. I have
often wondered about trifolate orange for a choice for pectin. I can't
find any thing they are good for except as a purgative. One of them will
replace a dose of magnesium citrate.
