Having waited till full leaf out on walnuts before setting the grafts, then do you graft onto last year's wood, or onto the new green growth?

Walnut varieties only bleed if grafted before full leafing out. Never graft till after leafing. Same goes for pruning walnuts if pruned before leafing it will bleed a long long time. Only prune after full leafing.
