Fellow Fruit Folks,
Last month I discovered some acorns (Red Oak) in the frig. that I
didn't get planted last spring. Just for the heck of it, I put four of
them in one of the ol girls flower pots, and sure nuff, three are now up
growing. First one came up Sept. 8. Getting started when they should
be going dormant probably fouls up their biological clock, so what should
I do to try to keep them alive? Here's four options I have thought of.
See if they will go dormant
Take in house for the winter
Send to Florida for the winter
Dump in compost pile
Any other ideas????
Thanks,
Jack Wigal
