Sounds to me like he ate stuffed groundhog!

Gordon C. Nofs
Flint, MI.

The real question is will any of them fend off groundhogs?

I have a bit of a story about our groundhog experience. We had an old daddy groundhog who lived in the woodshed & had free access to our annual vegetable garden. Being that we are a community & often times we have "militant" vegans & animal rights activists living here & try to operate by consensus the
easiest solutions are not always possible here. But when the damage to the garden became particularly bad an old friend of mine showed up who would be labelled as a crazy or an empath depending on yr view of such matters. He spotted furry fatso feasting on some vegetables, walked right up to him &
counselled him for a good long time about the fact that we wanted to eat those vegetables & would he please go elsewhere to fill his belly. Never saw that groundhog again.

The history of agriculture is filled with the constant strife before those wishing to develop the land to support a less nomadic way and those that prey on those who nurture the land.
