Over 10 to 12 years of greenwood grafting I have found that when I unwrapped the grafts after 2 weeks and plus if the leafs fell of and the other was green it was a take.

I have also been told that if the leaf axil "dehisces" (i.e.
falls off easily/naturally) the graft has "taken". If it is
firmly attached, the graft failed. Any thoughts on this?
