What part of the elderberry fruit does this gummy substance come from.
On a somewhat related note, this evening I was helping a friend pot up
stuff for her nurserey which specailizes in the unusual ornamental sort of
thing and one of the plants I potted was elderberry cuttings from a witches
broom. I suppose they will become very tight compact mounds.
