thanks Bernie, I'm looking at putting in a number of evans, so the cost from
SLN is a factor and I'm not plussed with the ones I did buy there.
Lawyers lists them, so I inquired about the origin (grafted, cultured,
caliper, etc..?) of theirs and got a Microsoft word document that I have now
spent over eight hours trying to learn to open on our macintosh! and they
havent replied to my requests for help.
this is why I'm pursuing home propagating.....thanks much for the info on
poor seed production....kind of amazing. Sounds like if I can get a short
and bushy one I can bury branches and might have some luck. Interesting,
