I have two white currants that have fruit on them--Blanka and White Currant
1301. I've never grown currants, let alone white currants, before. My
question is how do you tell when the fruit it ripe and ready to pick? As of
today, the bunches or clusters seem to be full sized, and they are a
translucent green. Will they turn pearly white (translucent) or a solid
white? Also, what is a good way to eat them? Raw, jams, pies, ???? Any
recipes would be appreciated.
