I've found the repository very open to requests for wood for
cuttings, particularly when the cultivars that I was asking for were
no longer commercially available (as the time when I was helping to
start a planting of heritage cultivars for a living history farm).
Readily available cultivars should probably be purchased from
commercial sources.--Sam Brungardt, St. Paul, Minn.
