I had trouble only once and I solved it by spreading Tanglefoot (or what
ever that non-hardening rosin is called) around the trunk of my saplings
for about ten inches up. Works for voles which chew the insulation off
satellite TV cables also. Works for gypsy moth worms too( to prevent
them from migrating from tree to tree.) Happy Holidays! Doc Lisenby
