Hello Claude
I have purschased over 10 of the HW series and named series, eg
Hargrand/Harlayne, Harglow &c
Started about 1987 and stopped buying in 3/4 years
They have done poorly here on the whole (40% died), perhaps our cold winters
or cold springs. I am on a morriane with modest topsoil, then 50/100 feet
or more of sand/gravel.
Have protection from prevailing winds
Fruit is sparce, small & spotted (blight?)
Not too hopeful, perhaps its my zone 4b
Only our V60031 does great ( 1 or 2 years out of 4)
Cheers Bert
